The annual Easter egg hunt takes place on a Saturday close to Easter. The Easter bunny’s helpers hide candy-filled plastic eggs on the playground of the Grand Rapids Christian Elementary School. In order to make sure everyone has a chance to find eggs, children under three get a head start collecting. We divide the number of eggs by the number of participants so everyone has a fun time and there are no tears. The egg hunt happens in rain, snow or beautiful spring weather. On nice days, kids play after hunting and parents watch and visit.
