2013 Ottawa Hills Garden Tour - Saturday June 29, 9:00am - 1:00pm

The Ottawa Hills Neighborhood Association will be holding its 20th Annual Garden Tour on Saturday, June 29 from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm.  There will once again be a great line-up of neighborhood gardens for the community to enjoy.  This self-guided walking tour through the neighborhood is free and open to the general public.  The Ottawa Hills neighborhood is one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city, with tree lined streets, historic homes, and friendly neighbors. The neighborhood was developed in the 1920s on the site of the former Grand Rapids Golf Club. Ottawa Hills is bounded on the north by Franklin Street, on the south by Hall Street, on the east by Cadillac Drive and on the west by Giddings Avenue.

Most of the homes in Ottawa Hills are large and unique, encompassing a variety of architectural styles. Many of the gardens you will see on the tour reflect this architecture. You will also recognize the beauty of the large trees that line the curved streets of the neighborhood, many of which were planted when the area was being developed.  So please come visit the Ottawa Hills neighborhood and enjoy a wonderful Saturday in our beautiful neighborhood. You will not be disappointed

The starting point for the tour is at the Grand Rapids Christian Elementary School, 1050 Iroquois Drive.  Please park on the north side of the school. An information booth will be set up with maps and directions.
